College to Celebrate 首页coming Weekend Sept. 21-22

Hudson Valley Community College will hold its annual 首页coming weekend festivities Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, 9月22日, 2024. Most events are open to the public; please note where registration may be required.

Saturday, September 21

• 15th Annual Race Away Stigma 5K Run and Fun Walk (Registration required)
  Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.; Race begins at 9:30 a.m.; Awards and snacks at 10:30 a.m.
  All are invited to participate in the Race Away Stigma 5K Race and Fun Walk to raise awareness and end the stigma associated with mental illness. The event is free to Hudson Valley students. • Distinguished 校友 Brunch
  10 a.m.
  The program celebrates alumni for notable contributions within their career fields and communities. The brunch will be held in the Bulmer Telecommunications Center. *(Registration for this event is now closed).
• Tailgate Party and BBQ
  11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  The Tailgate BBQ will be held at the picnic area by the Joseph L. 布鲁诺体育场. All are invited to enjoy free music, food and beverages, and giveaways prior to the 首页coming football game. Free t-shirts will be given out (while supplies last)!
• 校友 Presentation
  12:45 p.m.
  Join us at the game as we recognize this year’s Distinguished 校友 on the field, and visit the alumni tent for free Hudson Valley Community College 校友 Association swag and some popcorn!
• 首页coming Football Game
  1 p.m.
  The Vikings football team will take on Nassau Community College for the 首页coming football game. Tickets are available at the gate for $5 per person; admission is free for Hudson Valley students, 教师, 工作人员, and honorary guests.

Sunday, 9月22日

• Men’s Soccer vs. Fulton-Montgomery Community College

  The Vikings men’s soccer team will face off against Fulton-Montgomery Community College at noon. Admission is free.
